Michael Jackson

May 17, 2008

Alright, alright. Michael Jackson isn’t popular anymore. But he’s still known. He is-alright, was, a music legend. But now he’s gone. Why? Why this sudden fall? Is it because of his childhood? Well, how can you call constant music and dancing and being beaten childhood? But his songs are great. If you have virgin media, go onto Music on Demand and check out how many of his songs are on there. I’m telling you, there’s heaps! But people just aren’t interested in him anymore. What happened to you, Michael?

Why this sudden fall?

Systema!

May 4, 2008

Systema is an excellent Russian martial art. It’s very ideal and realisticbased. There are many Systema classes if anyone wishes to train systema; I would definitely recommend it more than Karate. It’s forthe mind, body and spirit. It has alot of breathing, and has lots of handy relaxation exercises. Here are a few clips of Systema:

First News

May 4, 2008

First News is an excellent newspaper for children. Encourage your children to read it. It’s more expensive then most newspapers but that’s because it’s very good. It has short, snappy articles and regular columns. But it’s good for children to read most newspapers as well, because it’s important for them to know what’s going on. So please buy First News for your children. It’s very good and is out every Thursday.

Teachers’ strike!

April 24, 2008

Today, thousands of teachers all over the UK have gone on a strike. This is because of the unfair wages the government are paying and going to pay the teachers. In the next year, when payment levels have gone up, say to 4%, everyone working will be paid 5% more to help get through this. But the government have decided to be really unfair to the teachers and are going to increase their payment just by 2.5%! And this will be until 2011! So let me tell you more about this. Secrets…shh…

April 2, 2008

Secrets. Everyone has them. Big secrets, little secrets, secret fears, secret diaries, horrible secrets, scary secrets, great secrets. Sometimes secrets can cause trouble. No, I’m not talking about fears of spiders. I mean real secrets. For example. At the moment I’m reading this book called Can you keep a secret? by Sandra Glover. This girl called Karen had to keep a secret that one of her ‘friends’ named Zoe told her. Zoe said that she was pregnant. It turned out she was just joking, but you see what I mean? Or maybe if you’re parents broke up.  But secrets can cause lots of trouble, which are: friend fall outs, boyfriend/girlfriend break ups, etc. Depending on what the secret is, you should tell someone. If you are being bullied, if you’re pregnant very young, if you’re being beaten at home then it’s very important that you tell someone. Don’t forget that.

Hair

March 29, 2008

Women are always dissatisfied with their hair for some reason! If it’s straight, they curl it. If it’s curly, they straighten it. If it’s brown, they dye it blond. If it’s blond, they dye it red. If it’s black, they dye it brown. If it’s red, they dye it black! Why do they do this? What’s wrong with their hair? Well, I am being a bit of a hypocrite I guess. I want to get my hair to be all proper curly like Cariba Heines because when i brush it or wind blows in it it goes bushy. Yet lots of people say they like my hair, even if they don’t mean it. You see! Nearly everyone likes my hair except me. Most people don’t like they’re own hair or, as my Auntie said, they’re a bit bored of it. So that’s why. But seriously, if you don’t like your hair, why were you given it in the first place? It’s weird!

But remember this: even if your hair isn’t the best, everyone has at least one positive feature. You juts have to focus on the good and block out the bad!

Dog poo!

March 9, 2008

Urgh! Gross! Isn’t dog poo disgusting! Yet some people allow their dogs to poo all over the place. And you might be one of those people, right? Well, haven’t you thought of all those poor soles who have stepped on dog poo? Think of how angry and annoyed they must be! And that’s not the worst of it. Dog poo is POISON! Yes, poison! And as most people, myself not being one of them, they wear their shoes inside the house, bringing all the poo inside.

What’s the conclusion? How about cleaning after your dogs! If you can allow your dogs to poo then surely you must be able to clean it up! If not, what an irresponsible owner you are! OK, maybe not. Sorry about that. Just in future, try thinking of cleaning after your pets!

Expressing yourself by writing

February 22, 2008

If you’re feeling really awful, you’ve had a bad day, you really don’t know what to say, then what better a way to express yourself then writing! Writing is creative, writing is fun, and it’s a great way to pass the time. You can write songs, write music, write stories and poems, and it can be about anything you want! It’s lots of fun and really easy if you try! The best thing to write about is how you’re feeling deep down inside you. Happiness is a wonderful, pure deep feeling which all of us humans want desperately. It’s also a great topic to write about. Sadness is even better because you can say how sad you’re feeling and expressing yourself makes you feel much happier. Anger is great, because say if you’re angry with someone. Instead of hitting it out on them you can hit it into your work. That’s very good, because more often then not we all feel angry with one another!

How do we express ourselves? How do we write a story or poem all about this person or thing without them knowing or finding out? Simple. We don’t. We basically change names, schools or colleges or university names, names of people, names of streets, and etc. No one will ever know we were writing about them except the writer. You. I would seriously recommend writing. So don’t be afraid to………
